I keep having these bizarre dreams that are somehow (or not at all) related to things in my life. One day before a river rafting trip with my church, I drempt we were crossing a river on our way to our destination. I got stuck in the river, but everyone went on quite happily without me. The next day, it turned out that my church had left without me on the trip. Also, I have these dreams when i’m something else, like a bird or cat. When i’m a bird, I always can’t fly. As a cat, I can’t use my claws.

Is there some explanation to these kinds of dreams, or are they just dreams . . .? May my dreams have to do something with my own self?

Since I was 6 I’ve had dreams of my father drowning. The most recent dream had been him and I driving on a narrow landbridge when the car spun outta control and we landed in the water. I opened the door and swam out of the car. He was still under, I swim to the other side, and pull him out. He was about drowned but gets back.

A year after that dream, him and I were whitewater rafting. We flip on the most dangerous rapid of the river. This was during extreme flooding too, so the river was more dangerous then usual. I’m fine but I look for him and can’t see him. I then hear him yelling for help. I swam through Cat 6 rapids as if they were nothing to get to him, he is not moving, just there. I grad him and ask if hes alright, he ’s unconcious and in his sleep faintly wispering help me help me. I knew if I let go he was going to die. Long story short I save his life and haven’t had a dream of him drowning since. THis was 3 years ago.
